Nanny who battered Ugandan baby asks for forgiveness, explains why she did it
There's absolutely no reason for severely battering a helpless 18month old but the Nanny who is currently in prison awaiting trial for attempted murder of baby Arnella tries to explain why she did it and begs for forgiveness. She's due in court again on December 8th.
Speaking from Luzira prison, Jolly Tumuhiirwe told Ugandaonline.net
“My dad in Kabale was very sick and my mom did not have any money. I asked my bosses for some money to send to my dad but they told me that I hadn’t made a month yet and my father was dying, so it kept on haunting me. That is the more reason I referred the anger to the baby but I’m sorry.

See Pics: One dead from today's fight between Okada men & thugs in Lekki
Apparently the fight between Okadamen, bus drivers and thugs today in the Lekki Phase 1 area of Lagos was more serious than we thought. Machetes were used and someone died.
A young man was struck in the back of the head with a Machette and was taken to the nearest place they could find, a lab, not a hospital. The lab called for an ambulance to take the injured man to a hospital and for 3 hours, no ambulance showed up. The guy eventually died possibly from loss of blood. Above is a pic of his body as it was being transported in a police van via Lekki-Ikoyi bridge.

Police Officers Require Special Anointing- Adeboye
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A
Adeboye has said that officers of the Nigerian Police, especially those serving
at the Lagos State Police Command, require special anointing to combat
criminalities.
Adeboye made this statement yesterday during his visit to
the Lagos State Police Command where he was invited as a guest by the Christian
Police Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN), Lagos State Chapter.
Adeboye who spoke on the theme “The Anointed Police
Officer”, also spoke about the security challenges the country is going
through.
In a country like Nigeria with a large population,
securing lives and property is complex and cumbersome. With the country
presently going through some security challenges, police officers need
spiritual protection in addition to the physical gadgets and tools for combating criminalities in all
ramifications, he said.
