King Salman of Saudi Arabia Replaces Next in Line to The Throne
Saudi Arabia on Wednesday said King Salman bin Abdulaziz had removed his
crown prince and foreign minister, as part of a dramatic reshuffling of
his top officials.
The king replaced his younger half-brother, Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, as crown prince, appointing his nephew, Deputy Crown Prince Mohammedbin Nayef, as his new heir apparent. He appointed his son, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as deputy crown prince, making him second in line to the throne.

Zamafara Government To Spend N40m On Mass Wedding In the State
As usual, the Zamfara
Government is about to wed a lot of people who are single, widows, widowers and
divorcees in a mass wedding so as to reduce the rate of ‘sin’ in the State. The
mass wedding which will be organized by the Association of Widows and Divorcees
in the state will cost the Government the sum of N40m.

A 32-year-old Lebanese, Amira Abdallahi, along with five other suspects,
have been arrested by the police for alleged robberies and frauds
totalling N20m in different parts of Lagos and Abuja.

Finance Minister, Okonjo-Iweala makes Fortune magazine's World 50 Greatest Leaders list

Okonjo-Iweala has been named among the 50 World Greatest Leaders by
world acclaimed Fortune Magazine.
Liberian President, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf; Catholic Pontiac, Pope Francis; Chinese President Xi Jinping, Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi; Bill and Melinda Gates as well as Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerburg and Apple Chief Executive Officer, Tom Cook also made the list.

Three boys, 11-months old Aderomola Orekoya, 4 year old Adedamola Orekoya and 6 years Demola Orekoya were taken from their home in Surulere yesterday morning April 8th by a housemaid their mum employed just a day before. The woman said she placed an ad on OLX for a housemaid and the woman showed up. After interviewing her and speaking with two of her supposed relations who claimed they lived in Ikorodu, she decided to employ her. Only for the housemaid to disappear with her boys the following day. The housemaid phones and those of her 'relatives' are now all off.

Timaya's baby mama Barbara is pregnant with her second child, so it's safe to assume that Timaya is the baby's father. Barbara did her baby shower on Easter Monday April 6th. Timaya and Barbara welcomed a daughter, Emmanuella, in May 2012.
President Obama presents Jega with Certificate of Commendation
US president Barack Obama a few days ago presented a Certificate of
Commendation to INEC chairman, Attahiru Jega, over the conduct of the
Presidential and National Assembly elections on March 28th, which they
said was free and fair, credible and the best election ever held in
Nigeria.
The 'Certificate of Commendation' was presented to Jega on behalf of the US government by US Ambassador to Nigeria, James Entwistle. Entwistle said Jega's performance with the election was 'outstanding and worthy of emulation.'
But yesterday, Federal Commissioner for Information and South South leader, Chief Edwin Clark condemned the award, saying it was too hasty since the Governorship and state Houses of Assembly elections haven't even held. He told the US to leave Nigeria alone...

even if it means he is the only one standing. In a statement he released
to mark his 67th birthday today April 8th, the Senate President said
all those who are currently defecting from the party are fair weather
friends.
"If I will be the last man standing, I will remain in PDP, defectors are fair weather friends,”the statement in part reads
