‘Oga at the top’ NSCDC Commandant transferred to Kaduna

Mr Adebayo Ayeni has been redeployed to take over as the new commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Oyo State Command.
The command’s spokesperson, Mr Oluwole Olusegun, made the disclosure in a statement he issued to newsmen on Wednesday in Ibadan.
He said that Ayeni, who until the redeployment was Imo commandant of the NSCDC, took over from Mr Shem Obafaiye, who was transferred to head the NSCDC, Zone B, Kaduna State.
“The redeployment is part of efforts to strengthen the security in the country.
“The new commandant has served at various commands across the country, such as, Ekiti, Ondo, Kogi, Benue, Bauchi, Taraba, National Headquarters and recently, Zone E command, Imo State,” it said.
Ayeni urged officers of the command and the public to support the NSCDC in its fight against criminals and acts of criminality in the state. (NAN)
